This was my favorite quote. My toy heaven was early 80's playing with my Star Wars action figures. I'm a Gen Xer born in the 70s. I was wondering what it was about you I related to so much Art. You are 3 years younger than my Mother and Father so you are a baby boomer. For some reason baby boomers have a deep connection with me. Sometimes I wonder if I was an old soul born in the wrong era because my Mother, Aunts and Uncles always had conversations with me like I was on their level. My Mother has conversations with me for hours. Your generation loves me.

I understand not feeling present. This year when I began walking and it was the first time in a very long time I felt present. You'll see it all in my writing. Just follow the bread crumbs in my work. My childhood was so happy and joyful and I see some of that wonder and creativity starting to show back up in my paintings of words. The last time I felt alive was an epic love in my early 20s. She's so epic she is married with kids now and all of these year later she still finds time to read my work here. Now I have a new love. I call her my visionary love because she represents a future I never even imagined. A lot of these pieces about love is because of her. Sorry for this being so long but I'm famous for writing articles in comments. I can't help it. Reading this evoked so many memories and introspection in me. Thank you for this Art. This was a fulfilling read.
