This was helpful and useful. It made me mindful of CTAs. The only one I use is subscribe to get my emails at the bottom but that's unnecessary because Medium already provides that. Anyone I subscribe to I always click on the letter icon at the top. I post a link at the bottom of my articles as well. No need. When I do post any external link I do make sure it's aligned with theme of the story. Readers who read your writing care about the writing. Not your social media link or your tip jar. Now when they become a consistent follower they will want more of you. It's organic. Adding the three other articles as links is brilliant. I will post similar pieces and give a reader that's hungry for more. I needed this. Thank you.
