The birth of a storyteller
When I was 10, I invented pocket comics with my best friend. We grew characters from afternoon cartoons we loved. I wrote original stories. I remember drawing the characters and writing the stories was joyful, but I also like the process of making it into a small book. I laminated them all in transparent tape to give them a professional look. I had an Aunt that was English that would love when I made them for her. I didn’t know my making of these comics would be seeds of self-publishing that would show up again in 20 years and the person who appreciated my creations.
