The Focus and Commitment to Rebuilding
This is my in-bed after a walking journal on Saturday morning.
It’s funny that I thought the chronicles of my day ended with the bed journal I wrote in the wee hours of the morning. Life had more to pour into, so I’m here to receive. This is a direct continuation of the story I wrote under the covers, so these two will go great together.
There’s something about cool, windy mornings that always inspire some insight.
The in-the-bed journal was the first I realized that it is an excellent time to write. It’s so dark, comfortable, and still. Plus, I work nights, so being home in bed writing is relaxing. My walk journals have been inspired by laying in bed listening to the early morning wind howl, but I’ve never written one of these real-time chronicles in my bed before. It was always a specific topic.
I’m writing this two hours after my Saturday walk, trying to retain everything downloaded in my mind, body, and spirit. I want to eat breakfast, but it’s best to keep going once I have a flow. I’m always excited to bundle up and do my walks. I say that because the temperature dropped again, which I like. I like cold spring mornings.
