The Cusp of 800 Followers
Well damn, that was fast! Another mountain, another milestone, and another level.
It’s crazy; it seems like I was celebrating 700 with my Masterful 7 article, and I blink, and I’m at almost 800. I’m surprised. This has been a beautiful Medium journey. I started here as a member in June of 2020, and what a pivot it was.
I returned to writing after 12 years of being a music producer. I didn’t ever think I was returning to this craft again because I felt like I didn’t have anything to write about.
I expressed my emotions through music, art, stock video, and photography. I didn’t realize that in 2019 writing began to brew in my soul again because I was writing commentary in various groups that were getting a lot of love from men and women. Imagine that.
It’s cool when you can find balance, and both genders appreciate your words. My followers usually lean on the woman side, but I appreciate when men can understand what I write because I like inspiring men, and I’m a man who enjoys being inspired.
Men, including myself, like the audio and visual experience, which I plan to do more of. My women readers love to read and imagine a visual experience like they’re there with you. Women love when words can evoke an emotion from them.
