Midnight Mastermind

A nocturnal inspiration

The night is on my mind
The sun will still shine

MIDNIGHT A Tribe called Quest

The nighttime can be a scary or inspiring time of day where sometimes my creativity comes out to play. I wanted to create this spontaneous write because honestly I don’t know what will come from line to line. I don’t know it’ll be free flowing or if it will rhyme.

It’s not typically my favorite time because my off days I should be sleep. Sometimes my irises are larger watching my vivid imagination that’s so deep. In the blackest void of the night the glow of my instruments light my face.

While the world is asleep I find a mellow pace as I run my own race. I feel the warmth of the radiator in studio dream chamber aka my sonic sanctuary. I look at the ocean of ideas on my unorganized desktop. Sometimes I just blast music in the monitors and let the vibration become a part of my being. The night feels so infinite.

Cars look like frenetic streams of light darting by because my mind sees them as a beautiful futuristic dystopia. Within this secret place is where I find my utopia. In the eerie silence of 2 something in the morning.

I feel so free.
