I have a soft spot for anyone that's been ghosted. When my online crush ghosted me that rejection didn't feel good at all. It was one of the last times I felt hurt by a woman. Btw I wrote about it here last year. I had grown weary of that feeling and stared to find other sources of joy.

I grew up and seen the heavy emphasis on lighter skinned women in my culture. I can't Imagine how the darker skinned women felt when they never was first choice. I never understood why fair skin is put on the pedestal like it is. That's probably another conversation.

You really know how to tap into your feelings and emotions. You're not afraid to show them in their purest form. That's why your writing always feels so personal. Our heart breaks right with you. That's how invested your readers are.
