I'll speak from a man's perspective. There's nothing more powerful than a woman writing her sincere feelings about a man on paper or electronically.

I dated a woman in my early 20s who wrote me short love letters while we was at work. It makes me feel good that I was able to bring that level of euphoria to a woman. The notes were so vivid and romantic. Poetic.

This isn't a article because I wrote about her many times here. Writers are very romantic. Our breakup turned me into a different kind of writer but that's my journey.

Sometimes it intrigues me that the woman and writer who broke up with me reads my work consistently all of these years later. When love felt as good as that did I'm not surprised how well I was able to write about sadness.. That's my story. The future is brighter.
