I needed this article, Sally. I needed it because I haven't been the most vulnerable, and I haven't been the kindest to myself. I've been closed off and not living an authentic experience. It all came to a head this summer.

I wrote an article about being romantically scammed, which was very uncomfortable to share because it was personal and embarrassing. I even was shamed by a random woman in the comments, which didn't feel good.

I let it out, though. I'm ready to share my feelings again and not be so guarded and cold. Sometimes you hide behind positivity, and you really have a war within.
