I wanted to go into the New Year with a new habit of completion.

Finish line. In January, I joined a 400-mile challenge. By September, I would fall very short of the goal because the summertime heat and humidity made moving very uninspiring. I just wanted to hibernate. I picked up the pace in Autumn, and by December 1st, I was at 320 miles. I said that day, "I'm going to make it 400 miles."

Today, on 12-30-24, I completed my goal of reaching 400 miles for the year. I did 80 miles in December, more than I've ever walked in a month. I became focused, starved of meaningless distractions, locked in, and got it done. Why? I wanted to complete at least one thing I started in 2024. In 2025, I'm going to complete everything I start. One task at a time.

I have another goal and milestone that I will reach in the next 24 hours: publishing 300 stories. This is # 297. What did you complete in 2024 that you’re proud of?
